As an EDI Developer, you will be responsible for directly developing the electronic data interface for an eInvoicing business.

You will be part of the Technical Implementation Services team and will be responsible for designing, development, rollout and enablement of Mirth interface Implementations for e-Invoicing customers based on Peppol standards.

Must Have Skills:

– Mirth Interface Engine

– Java

– Java Script

– XML

– Webservices

– MySQL

Good to have:

  • Understanding of Peppol standards
  • Cloud tools (AWS).
  • PHP/Laravel

What you’ll do:

  • Build an electronic data interface based on Peppol standards
  • Communicate with other access points that will be transferring e-invoices to our access point based on Peppol standards
  • Experience with NextGen Connect (formerly known as Mirth Connect) is a must
  • Knowledge of electronic data interface transactions to support various procurement documents
  • Mapping from various file formats
  • Coordination across internal and external partners, including clients
  • Capture and document business and functional requirements
  • Perform interface development
  • Interpret various specification documents from government and business customers

What you’ll bring to Link4:

3+ years of relevant experience

  • Experience in e-procurement processes specially e-Invoicing
  • Experience with EDI solutions, supply chain management systems, etc.
  • Familiarity with EDI translation concepts
  • A strong understanding of EDI programming practices, standards and conventions.
  • A strong understanding of development life cycle.
  • Be proactive to issues regarding infrastructure, troubleshooting/debugging, user requests, etc.
  • Experience with tuning and customizing default application reports.
  • Experience with data delivery mechanisms using (S)FTP, HTTPS and other protocols.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, knowledge of PEPPOL standards is a plus
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and priority management skills
  • Knowledge of commonly used EDI concepts, best practices, and procedures
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – both technical and non-technical
  • Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and have the willingness and ability to lead small initiatives and projects
  • Ability to look at the larger picture and understand the interactions of different business and IT teams
  • Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues
