In recognition of Link4’s efforts to support online safety for small business owners, the Australian Government has approved Link4 to be an official partner on the Stay Smart Online website.
Malicious emails, which include invoices from recognisable Australian companies, are becoming more common-place. This is causing an increasing number of business owners to be caught out and enticed to click on suspect PDFs that can look very real at first glance.
Link4 is a big supporter and facilitator of e-Invoicing. Having invoices delivered to an Accounting system negates the temptation to click on attachments in emails. Considering security layers within Cloud Accounting systems and access points like Link4, only approved and reputable organisations are able to send invoices to business owners with e-Invoicing. Thus creating a safer and more secure environment for small businesses to operate in.
With freemium options available, and considering the increase in viruses, malware and ransomware threats, all business owners should consider their option for e-Invoicing as a matter of priority.
“Link4 is proud to be included as a partner to the Stay Smart Online program,” noted Robin Sands, CEO of Link4 Australia. “We will continue to do our part in supporting small businesses when it comes to transacting safely online.”
