Link4 Fast Tracks Invoice Delivery to Win Fintech Business Start-Up of the Year

Posted by Link4 Team on 04/04/2018

We have been named the Fintech Business Start-Up of the Year!

Our e-invoicing solution has been recognised for its ability to help SMEs operate more efficiently when it comes to invoicing.

The Fintech Business Awards recognise innovation and entrepreneurship in the Australian financial technology sector.

While presenting the award, the Fintech Business judges said that “Link4 has demonstrated a clear understanding of market dynamics and was ready to execute on a huge business opportunity.”

Our CEO, Robin Sands, was at the awards ceremony on the night to accept the award on behalf of the Link4 team.

Upon winning the award, Robin said, “We created Link4 to help small businesses become more efficient with their invoice processing using their current Cloud Accounting systems. Now we are well placed to deliver the simplest and most efficient e-invoicing solution for SMEs in the world.”

So far we have helped 1,000 Australian businesses improve their cash flow, with invoice payments being 22 days faster than the Australian average of 26.5 days late. We also work to reduce suppliers’ invoicing costs by up to 44% by delivering their invoices directly into their customers’ Accounting systems.

The Link4 Team celebrating the Award back in Adelaide

After the award arrived safely back in Adelaide, the team went out for dinner to celebrate this achievement. During this dinner, the team toasted the success of the company so far and what the future holds for both Link4 and e-invoicing.

Where is e-invoicing going from here?

In a press release about this award, Link4 CEO Robin Sands said the company is on track for capital raising and expansion in the UK and New Zealand markets.

“New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, has thrown her support behind e-invoicing agreeing to collaborate with the Australian Government to implement new e-invoicing initiatives,” Robin said.

“She has estimated that even a 15% adoption of e-invoicing could deliver annual savings of around $500 million in New Zealand and $3 billion in Australia.”

This is also in line with Singapore’s recently announced plans to launch e-invoicing later this year.

Coinciding with this win, we are connecting more suppliers and so will be launching new features for our users – making it even easier for them to process their invoices more efficiently. We are also rolling out special offers for new and existing users! Sign up today and see how you can start benefiting from our seamless invoice delivery.
