The Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment (MBIE) reported that over 280 million B2B invoices are exchanged annually in New Zealand. The expansion comes at a crucial time when the need for streamlined, secure, and efficient invoicing processes is more prevalent than ever. Traditional invoicing processes in New Zealand lead to an average response time of 25.1 days<\/a>, as traditional paper invoices can take days or even weeks to be delivered, processed, and paid. In contrast, eInvoicing allows invoices to be sent and received almost instantly, providing clear and accurate payment details. Currently, New Zealand\u2019s Central Government agencies are required to pay 95%<\/a> of invoices within 10 days<\/a> and be able to receive eInvoices from their suppliers. This transparency improves cash flow and enhances the customer experience by reducing administrative tasks and ensuring timely payments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
